PLASTIC PLEDGE

ANIMATED/MOTION GRAPHIC VIDEO

Design a motion graphic video for an existing poster or campaign that was originally only meant for print viewing. This project analyzes how digital assets and content can change for various types of viewing and storytelling. This animated video is about a minute long, fully animated with sound. It is about showcasing the reason for joining the National Geographic Plastic Pledge, which is to lessen our plastic footprint, especially for marine life.

In the animated video, the message that is being communicated is that a turtle will eventually digest our plastic waste, ultimately hurting or killing them. This was intended to not scare the public with this information, but use it as a way to inform all audiences. So the graphics used aren't intimidating or hard to watch/understand.
